16v "B" Pillar badges

Hi All,

I got some of the 16v badges of of some guy in Germany. Didn't know that
they were used until I got em. They looked good in the pics but when I got
em they clearly were used. Kind of disappointed. They guy refunded part of
my money but still is kind of lame. Wanted a pair of brand new ones to have
for when my car gets painted. My buddy Dave was crafty with the Vinyl and
created me some awesome 2.2 16v badges out of red and black vinyl. I dig em
but worried about longevity. I'm sure people have heard of Meister Gauge
faces. He is the one that is super crafty with vinyl. It is supposed to be 8
year vinyl or something but never know. They look killer but kind of like
the true 16v badges too.

Anyone happen to come across some let me know and I will buy em.

By the way, Meister gauge faces totally rock if you're looking for a set. He
does custom stuff and will look better than most any competitors product.

Nice plug huh?

On a side note, got some bad news today. I had a 2.2ltr 16v built for me a
while back at a local shop. Well, at 14,900 miles I had my third and final
break in oil change done. Drove the car about 300 miles or so give or take a
few. I was rolling around a clover leaf onramp and my oil buzzer went off.
It kind of freaked me out since I'd never heard one on this car before.
Anyway, when the onramp straightened out the buzzer went off. Didn't think
much of it after that until I was coming back and hit a slight bend offramp.
This bend was really minor and the buzzer went off again. I was really
concerned this time since the mother had less than 2k on the clock and just
had the oil changed 300 miles earlier with Synthetic Lucas oil. Anyway, got
back to work and called the mechanic. (work was 500 feet from offramp) He
said to put some oil in it and bring it in so they can inspect it. Well,
dropped it off last week and they just got to it today. They pulled the oil
pan and head. There was oil on the piston crowns and in the exhaust flanges.
They have to tear the whole thing out and ship it off to the shop that did
the machining and final assembly. I'm totally bummed. It took a while to
suffer through the break in without jumping on it. Now they have to rebuild
it and I'm most likely going to have to suffer through another break in
period.

Not a happy camper. I hate cars. (not really but kind of makes me feel
better saying it)

Only saving grace is my daily driver is a 98 M3.
