Yes it does have the A2 mount holes, they're the three unused lateral holes on the outside of the crown gear (differential ring gear) part of the casing.  What did you say the condition of the gears were?  Was it in something and working before this?

  tranny has about 100,000 miles on it.  drove on it for 2 years.  it need the inner shaft seals which I have and will include.

      In all seriousness I think the 4K is a straight bolt in to an A2.
