NEED input - removing all Mk1 glass

Got a chance to pick up all the glass from a Mk1 this
Saturday.  Can someone school me on removing the glass
in the least hazardous (to the glass) fashion?

I've removed all the side glass from a Mk2, but never
the front or rear glass, which is the big issue here.
