That's it! %@$& The Island is a go



   When I buy anything from the US, I make sure to tell the seller that 
I will refuse any UPS shipment.
   UPS automatically adds a brokerage fee to anything that goes across 
the border. That fee is in addition to any tax/duty/etc, and you still 
have to pay it even if ther is no tax/duty/etc.
   I even had to pay duty on a *repaired* fan. I got that refunded by 
the shipper.
   Now I refuse any UPS shipment. The other carriers are OK, it is only 
UPS that cannot get through their heads that since the brokerage fee is 
the same no matter the value of the shipment, it is not a big deal for 
large commercial customers but to us it is highway robbery.
