Golf Trans. dying



My mistake. The A2 had a linkage type shifter. Don't know what I was thinking.
A2 and A1 linkages are different though, so you'll need to round up the A2 linkage parts. Either linkage will bolt to the 16V tranny so that won't be an issue.
So, you've got the tranny and engine, you just need to round up the other misc. parts and it'll all bolt together.
