Fwd: OT: Anyone following Battlestar Galactica?
If you read my original email they hit about every loose end I
mentioned--although I was wrong about the Pegasus--BUT they needed an
hour and half... so my statement stands. They didn't do it in 43
minutes of show time--LOL
Was it me or did everyone seem a little pudgier? Lt Gaeta was a
little bitch, Helo had his position on the Galactica (to be close to
the still imprisoned Sharon I am sure) Cally had a bun in the oven,
even after Chief beat the shit out of her...
Now there were three diferent strings with Gina/6... The one that blew
herself up that we saw virtually topless minus a nipple risky for
SciFi, she took out Cloud 9 and although you don't see it, a few other
ships (summary tells you this) that would explain partially 1/4 the
population gone, you have to assume they aren't talking about the
skeleton crews up on the Battlestars, and the few remaining ships.
Then you have Gina/6 in Baltar's Head that has apparently been absent
until Baltar had the supreme look of "oh shit" on his face and she
states "Judgement Day"
Lastly you have the Cylon Hero Gina wit all the memories of the copy
that educed Baltar originally--speaking of which; she claimed in a
previous episode that she was in his house when it got nuked--that her
body was destroyed. Ok I believe that. We even saw this in the pilot
and in the opening credits, she pushes him down as the shockwave hits
the house. What bothers me about this, and so it should for all of us
that grew up in the height of the cold war--you may survive the
radiation for a while, but it's the shockwave that does the most
damage and has the initial death toll--How did Baltar survive that and
make it to the Raptor relatively unscathed? I don't think he did.
(or it's bad writing) We have only seen a few models of clones--there
are something like 12 of them I believe... is he a Cylon? Also Gina
said she knew who he was--but I got the impression that they knew what
he knew--if there was a chip in his melon that was communicating with
the Cylons thrn that would explain why his ghost Gina had been absent
on the plane with all that interference.
