Quick opinion poll

Hi everyone - I have to repaint the mirror bases on my mk1 and I'm having a 
hard time deciding which type of black to use (mainly because I don't think 
I've ever seen what black was used to give it a new-looking sheen). Anyway, I 
currently have flat black and 40% matte black as my options. The 40% came with 
the powdercoating of my trim and I have 6 extra spray-bombs. Now while it 
would perfectly match my trim, I'm more concerned about it matching what the 
mirror would look like when cleaned up/"black-ed up" (a la Future 2001 (like 
Armor All)...
