Oil pressure switch

That sounds also like the infamous "Oil Pressure Warning System
Control Unit".
It manifests itself in two ways:
   - oil light comes on
   - warning buzzer in the instrument cluster buzzes.
   Mine started with the light.
   Then the light was flickering
Eventually the buzzer started making noise.
I clued on what was going on when I banged on the dash in
exasperation, and the noise stopped.
It was bad solder joints on the abovementioned Control Unit.

> There are 2 sensors. Higher and Lower pressure mounted on the oil filter flange. The temp is on the back of a 16v motor.
> Check the connectors on the switches. Its only tinned copper and it dows corrode. Check where the wire exits the plastic and connects to the connector.

>>When I look in my engine compartment at the oil filter, which is the oil pressure switch. I see what looks like a sensor directly above the filter and one between it and the engine. The problem that I'm having is the oil warning light coming on. The oil level is fine and looks fairly clean on the dip stick.
