I put up a post on the Vortex a while ago about wanting to trade my 86
Scirocco for a Caddy, since I really needed a truck.  The 86 was
basically a 98 Jetta w/ an 86 Scirocco body on it - everything,
including the full wiring harness (to the taillights), dash, and
drivetrain (all from a low mileage car the PO had rolled), plus some
-10k bilstein coilovers.  Allyn responded that he was looking for a
reliable back-up vehicle, and had a pair of them to trade, so we went
from there.  It took a while to get the logistics sorted out
(re-entering the 86 to the U.S.), but Cincy made for a convenient time
to make the trip.

I'll still lurk from time to time, and hope to have more time in a few
