Shipping a Mk1 dashboard?

Go to a body shop, and get a big ol box to a bumper - the one I got
was for a Toyota Corolla - but it really doesn't matter- just get one
near the size of the bumper.

Clean up the dash, then wrap it up in two contractor grade trash bags
taped together. Then I got some foam boards from home depot - they
were about 1.5" thick - came with 6 of em in a pack for $6.50. those
go in the sides, and fill the rest with a crapton of crumpled
newspaper packed densly.

I shipped a nifty crack free dash from PA to MO like that and it worked great!!
