My McGyver moment, or, how I won the Red Green Award

I'm REALLY surprised it made it past the autox, lifting all those wheels and all.

A guy I worked corner 4 with(white nissan 350z) saw you go around, said that you were losing traction by lifting a wheel. I told him they are designed that way. The Jap's thought IDS was a good idea, but look at Nate's first time, 59.998, and that on a 3/4mi+ course with fucking concret curbs everywhere!

  I'd be a little safe too, and I was! 101.56 from a 107 in a 3000+lbs mk4 GTI with bad tires.

Nice to know my pig handles the way it does, makes the drive home from MKE to ORD that much more enjoyable.

Drove from southern Wisconsin (400 miles), with this under my car:

A little (well, a lot of) grease, a plastic bag, zip ties and duct tape,
and I was on my way:

Survived a hard day of autocrossing and a 400 mile trip back home, and
it's still on and intact!

Thanks to Daun for providing the garage space, jack and jack stand,
Tonee for providing light and tire rotation, and Drew for schooling me
in the proper ways of the grease gun.
