So I made some progress today on the wiring harness.  The power supplies are
connected with exception of the coilpack.  I am trying to find out which pin
powers the old coil so I can steal that (I think pin 15 is power and pin 1
is tach signal...)

Tomorrow I will get all the grounds grounded and it will be try 2 to hook up
the 9 pin serial connection so I can interface with a laptop.  I fried a pin
trying to solder the comm wires onto the serial connector :x

Maybe I am close to cranking this...

I'm pretty sure those seats only came in 16v sciroccos. so they should work
fine in your car.  I only live an hour and a half from Daun but never seem
to make it. Oh well maybe next year.
