Oil companies/ SUV rants

SUV's are more a status symbol, all the ones I see are carrying kids like a minivan wrapped in a gold package that only see dirt when they pull into the driveway and the back wheel goes into the grass.

What pisses me off is all these suburbanites in their stop and go SUVs
drinking up the gas I'd like to burn cheaply somewhere down the road. I've
been tooting around in fuel economical vehicles for 20 years, and dammit,
I
should get some sort of a voucher for my share of the current cheap fuel.

The price of gasoline in the US isn't determined by how much your
neighbor's SUV has been drinking for the past ten years; it's set by current
political world situations.
You've already received (and are receiving today) your reward for scooting
around in 30mpg cars: it's known as a "lower fuel bill". :) That, plus all
the FUN the 'Rocs have been and are. (does anyone really think driving an
Explorer/Tahoe is actually FUN?!)
:)
