There are many sources for used car values. Some insurance companies
have their favorites. Often services that most have never heard of. They
are pretty much set up to serve the insurance industry. I believe one
is currently being either sued or investigated for creating what is
considered to be a bogus database on which insurance companies could
base their values. Of course, when you point out how much maintenance
and rehab you have done, you can show why your car is more valuable than
the average example that has not been maintained or restored.

Remember that NADA and Kelly are averages from a set of data they have
collected. An average price is not necessarily the compensation you are
entitled to. You want fair market value based on your particular car.

What does he mean by saying "NYS DOES NOT follow the NADA Blue Book".
NYS as in New York State? How did NYS get involved?
