Looking for a rocco Mk2

Hi Jeff.
I'm not sure that the car has to be in a particular region, although closer is better.
We are located near Toronto, Ontario, Canada and would probably be coming
through Michigan at the Detroit crossing.
 
If you are able to provide more details and some pics I'd be happy to forward them
to this fellow.
Once he decides on a vehicle, its just a matter of logistics to plan the pickup and 
drive back home.

What region of the country does the car need to be in?  I have a friend with 
a nice '86 Flash silver 16v one that is really nice.
We are located near Birmingham, AL.

My son's friend is interested in picking up Mk2 scirocco.

Anyone have any leads of a decent car to pass on to him?

West coast cars are too far away to consider, anything else is doable.

He is 17 and not afraid to wrench.
