No Axles?



Julie,
All you need to do is use a couple of nut/bolt combos and large washers. The
need is to only keep the bearing assemblies from separating, which they will
surely do on their own with nothing in place to hold them together. The front
bearings are preloaded by compressing the inner race assemblies together. Here
is what the bearing looks like:

As you can see, the weight of the car alone is enough to make the races want to
walk apart in the absence of anything to hold them together. Without
engine/tranny, you obviously won't need the insane torque normally needed, and
can easily hold them together with simple nut/bolt/washer combos as mentioned
above.
