Buyer's info for Mk1



Ok. Rust on a MKI I do know about :)
1) check under the car where the rear swing arm meets the body. VW didn't provide good drainage in this area and rust WILL kill a car.
2)Check where the front fender meets the body at the lower section, both on the fender and the drain hole in the fire wall.
3) Under the wind shield on abot 6" in on either side. Bubbling here is real bad. Ask me how I know....
