I guess we've been demoted....



I don't know if the interior will pan out or not.  Have you seen the new Passat interior?  The dash doesn't fit the curves of the doors or its surround.  It looks like it ws just shoved in their and doesn't fit.  The driver's door armrest is flat on the back, even when the door panel curves away from it at the front, leaving a 1/4" gap behind the armrest.  These don't even pass as "floating" because they just plain don't look like they fit.  So even when toned down for production, the interior may still have most of its problems.  



It looks OK at best.  It certainly looks more like a GTI and not a Scirocco, if either of the two.  The CG stuff in the magazines was WAY better.
