Lookin' good, they're a lot like the 4crawler (MissingLinks) version
I have for Klaus. I'm deep into the Cabby (with calico ballast, as if it
needs to be heavier), the cat was asleep on the hood and didn't even move
as I jacked up and supported the car, and proceeded to remove that bracket
that holds up the long rod under the car (you know, the one with the
spline). What was supporting it in that bracket can only be described as
black/once rubber/near dust held together mainly by cobwebs. THAT one
should really improve. I'd say air would work as well as what was in there.
The new one's high density poly. Klaus will be next, I just keep moving the
jackstands around from car to car.
So, was there a lot of improvement from that linkage? I'm hoping so, though
Klaus' is fine now. I keep getting sidetracked by various other things I
find (do you ever go under the car and NOT find something new to fix??) and
taking breaks like this :)
