Lanyards?

I emailed Timbo the other day and mentioned that I'm going ahead with it.  I
asked him to whip up a design that simply said "scirocco.org" and had a
space where we would print people's names, vortex names, or both (their
choice).  I'll print a bunch of tags up and buy a pile of cheap black
lanyards with no printing...the whole thing should cost each lister
~$2.00-2.50 and can be used as a "lister ID" or sorts, for other events,
such as Waterfest, etc.  That's why I opted to leave the Cincy component
out.  The tag part will be laminated, ala backstage passes.

Waiting on Timbo, who definitely has his hands full....timbo?

Is everyone ok with that?  If so, just start emailing me requests, including
what I should print (name, screenname, nickname, car year and model, etc.
and in what priority, in case I run out of space).

Where are we on the lanyard idea?  IIRC, it's sort of stalled out due
to logistics and price.
Today the school I work at got a catalog of 'custom imprint' stuff.
they seem to be offering lanyards (3/4" nylon web), 100 for 1.75 each,
with a "$39 screen charge"
Worth persuing?  Anyone want the number?
