Lisle Tools = CRAP!



And this really is a good point.  What soured me on them was the fact 
that my nightmare with them was with VR6 flywheel bolts, which are very 
shallow anyway.  Just the very tips of the teeth engage, it's probably 
not more than 2mm deep in clean bolts.

I've never had a problem w/ the Lisle set in the 4 years I've had them. 
(knock
on wood as I'm about to use mine this week!)

But it's easy to ignore cleaning the bolts when loose and leave them in 
the CV
while you do whatever is you're doing. I recommend cleaning them each 
time
they're loose as well as tapping the tri-square bit snug before 
wrenching.
Doesn't matter what brand of bit you use - if it's not snug, the 
likelihood of
ruining the bolts goes up considerably.
