diamond on the flywheel ?

Yeah, I think you've got it right.
The notch at 6? BTDC is machined so it's pretty easy to see, the "0"
is cast and isn't so clear.
But, yes, they are about an inch apart and the notch is closer to the
front of the car when you can see them both.
