Gas pedal cable bushing

In a PINCH (used for 6 months before I got around to getting another bushing
(stock is fine btw) I slip on the ball end of the hook of the cable , the
clip end of the gas cable of an 8v rocco(end that clips on  TB). It clips on
trhe end perfectly and prevents it from even slipping out, and does look
like it prevents movement and excessive wear on new one.

Mine is toast, makes it hard to go anywhere when the bushing falls out 
of the hole!  I think I heard about an upgrade (A2, A3 maybe?), I need 
to get one ASAStat.
