Auto to Manual Conversion

Hey Al,

Thanks for getting back to me... I thought that was kind of expensive :O
Any suggestions on where one would get a good low mileage 020 - Can one
trust getting a used tranny from a wrecker?

I asked my wife if I could have another two or three Rocco's on the
street and she had to go clean out her poo-filed panties :) She rolls
her eyes at the drip pan under the present '84 collecting tranny fluid
:)

Thanks,

Noel

Wow,
020 Manual trannies can be had for next to nothing, from that point you
would only need the necessary linkage pieces from another manual
scirocco.
I'm sure someone around here has those bits lying around... If not, you
could get like 3 or 4 junk sciroccos (manuals) for that same $2000, and
pull the parts at will :).
