Starting problems

You'd think that since Ive had this car so long, Id have it figured out.
I just got it all put back together, now I cant get it to stay running. 
    It will start ok, then after about a few seconds, it dies.  It runs 
longer if I let it sit for a little while, but after a few tries it will 
barely start at all.
It was running perfectly before, so Im guessing its something around the 
fuel distributor, or maybe an electrical issue since those were the only 
two things I had to remove.
Any ideas?
