Blake, The VR6's are fun, but you'll spend the same amount that you do on the scirocco as far as upkeep.
 
Just ask Ellen, her corrado vr6 sucked up $17+k in 5+years and she only drives it in the summer.
 
But stupid us, we're on our third vr.
 
The engines are pretty good, just everything else has to be replaced.
 
If you want a more detailed run down of the expense, mail me off-list.
