CIS Cold Start question

Greetings fellow listers.
 
I am experiencing reluctant cold start the last few days
and am trying to diagnose the problem.
 
The question I have is.
 
Can I bypass the thermo time switch by jumpering the connection
at the switch in order to make the cold start injector fire?
 
I am suspecting a faulty wire/connector at the thermo switch at this point.
The switch was replaced about 2 years ago.
 
I do have power at the cold start injector on the red/black feed when cranking.
