Thanks for your support Shannon :)

Update:
The frame has been pulled and looks much better than it did before! the hood
closes although popped at the top. New hood goes on today. May be primer
red, but what the heck....
but...

The hinge on the drivers side has broken loose at the top of the hinge under
the rain tray area. Any one eve fix this before? If so, how?

Also... the engine moved over to the master cyl and broke the switch, so now
no brake lights. The part came in this morning, all of $8.00. With snow
coming down AGAIN, I am going to have another grubby day.

Good points:
The hood closes (but I have said that before)
I re-adjusted the shifter so I can find first again.
The car is not SOOOO emabarassing to drive.

Walking home from the garage, I got a ride from a local cop.
"Is that the same car you've had all these years?"
"No, but this is whats been done..."
"My wife is pissed at me for spending $15k on a 1952 Willies Jeep. Its
almost done, this is what I have done...."
We stopped at Dunkin Donuts for coffee and talked old cars and the pains of
ownership. What a buzz! Nice to have an allie on the local force :)

Whelp, time to warm up the salamander and get to work.
