Valid point.  Motorcyles have tried this concept by moving a smaller lighter
rotor to the edge of the wheel.  The issue with them is overcoming the
gyroscopic effect.

So larger rotor is nicer for better heat dissapation but the same
clamping area(?) and force, why bother?


I believe since the 11" brakes are mounted farther out than 10.1's,
the braking power will be increased - even with the same clamping area
and force on the pads...
