I had that problem with my fan too.  About 2 weeks to the day I bought it. 
LOL!  Funny thing about that.  There is also something about one of the 
holes" on the fuse panel.  I have owned 3 roccos (two were for parts) and
all three had the same exact place burned.  I think it was the J14 or
something like that.  Going out and looking at mine would do no good since
it was replaced when that b*****d rewired my kill switch in parallel instead
of in series.  What an IDIOT!  I sure learned MY lesson!  Don't take your
care to ANYONE that is NOT a Rocc'er unless you absolutely, positively HAVE
to!  PERIOD!  lol!

I have owned, I have had to change the thermo fan switch just after getting

it.  My '86 needs it too, and I've only driven it a little bit around here.
