Jacked up



I can't answer why it caused it to crack but there is no way that it was a
coincidence. Immediately after I let the jack down the tank started to leak.

how did the axle beam cause a fuel tank crack?
the stresses would be similar to jacking up by the axle beam pivot points
(which many do - its a commonly used jackstand point).
