2L 16v Conversion

Ok, so I picked up a 2L 16v from an auto passat a few weeks back. This
will be going into my 1.8 16v powered rocc, so it's not a major swap.

However, I'm sure there will be a few things I overlook unless I say
something here and get some feedback. So here is the deal.

As I said, it's a 2L 16v from an Auto Passat. I was told it only has 118k
on the engine. Car was parted as it took a hit in the back end, no
visable damage to the engine, which also was said to run fine after the
hit.

So, first off, so I just drop it in with a few new parts or should I look
at a rebuild. Money is a bit of an object here, but money builds over
time so I'm looking to guage this from repsonces.

So what I'd like is a list of things I should replace in a rebuild that
might not be hot pink neon sign obvious. Things like rings, crank/cam
bearings, head bolts, rod bolts fall into the obvious catagory. You may
go from there.

Now, if I don't do a rebuild, what little tricky things should I look for?
I'll have the engine on a stand within the next week which will make life
easier. So what things should I look for and what parts should I be
looking at replacing? Here is a list of what I've already ordered.

Engine Seal (cam shaft seal)
Oil Filter Flange Gasket
Oil Filter O-ring (between the flange and coolent plate)
16V Timing Belt
16V Intake Gasket (Half Point)
16V Valve Cover Gasket Kit
Fuel Injector O-Ring Top x5
Fuel Injector O-Ring Tip x5
16V Timing Belt Tensioner
OEM Oil Filter
Dual Outlet Exhaust Gasket

Things I know I still need to get:

Water pump O-ring
Exhaust manifold gasket x4
Clutch disk

So if there are any other parts that I will be needing, please point them
out. I know I need to swap my existing intake & exhaust manifolds. What
things might I be over-looking? Any and all help is appreciated as
always.

Thanks,
William S
