Will a jh 1.8 vw head fit Audi 2.0 block?

I've heard of numerous examples of people doing this including our own 
Patrick Bureau.
I personally have a JH on an ABA block with no assembly issues other making 
sure you get a 2.0 head gasket.
I'd imagine the fit on a 3A would be the same.
