I have the 10.1s and I really like the pedal feel versus the old
system.  It sure gives you the impression you are stopping quicker but
that's just subjective - I have no data.  I did get the entire system
from an 88 16v including rear discs/calipers, M/C, booster and prop
valves.  Some say swapping only the front caliper/rotors and not doing
the rest won't help very much.

I figure the 10.1 disc/calipers were more than adequate for cars
weighing several hundred pounds more than a Mk1 and you can't have too
much stopping power.  I'll live with the weight gain and wheel size
increase since I'm not racing.
