Attn 16V owners. Radiator hose ID help needed.

The only thing I see with this is the location of the
alternator.  The 16v Scirocco outlet comes out the side of
the radiator instead of facing the engine for this reason. 
I *think* that you can mount the alternator in the location
formerly for the a/c compressor (using the 16v bracket) and
still use the 8v radiator.  (at least this is my plan for
whenever I get that Mk 1 16v running.)
