CIS Lambda to straight CIS conversion

I'm betting not.
On cars I've seen where the frequency valve isn't working, if you adjust it
to idle the fuel mixture is all wrong for top end (engine won't pull past
4500) or vice versa.
The frequency valve controls the pressure in the lower chambers of the fuel
distributor and adjusting that pressure varies the amount of fuel flowing to
the injectors.
In regular CIS the lower chambers run at system pressure (about 70 psi IIRC)
and I would imagine the springs in the metering chambers are quite a bit
stronger to compensate for the much higher pressure.

Did you check the little relay for the frequency valve to make sure it's OK?
Also, I have a valve for cheap (off an 84, but I would assume they're the
same) if you should need it.
Dan
