Giorgetto Giugiaro [Was: Isuzu Scirocco]



I've never driven an Impulse but these two cars are not the only cars 
designed by Giugiaro.  Sorry to sidetrack, but his portfolio is amazing.

"Born in Garessio (Cuneo) on August 7, 1938, Giorgetto Giugiaro
relocated in 1952 to Turin where he studied art by day and technical
design by night. Spotted by Dante Giocosa, he joined Fiat Styling Center
as a young designer assigned to the specialized styling office. He had
just turned 17. He stayed there for 5 years, up to November 1965, when
he became head of Carrozzeria Ghia?s styling and design office.

On February 13, 1968, he established with Aldo Mantovani, his technology
partner, Italdesign,..."
