thats just funky. they cut the lower core support for some crazy reason. 
they left the pedal covers. they left the mono wiper. they left the white 
gauge faces. they left half of the short shift kit. its like they only 
half-ass did it. my guess is they were not very vw-savy, but they must have 
known what was under the hood.
i cant help but wonder if there were any prints left behind. its not exactly 
easy to do an engine pull without, at some point, doing so un-gloved.
aside from all of that, its just plain sad to see it that way...
i feel your pain man.
