It's page 23 of the January 2 edition.  Too bad that autoweek.com still has the last issue's
articles up.  The article is entitled "The Racing Volkswagen" and discusses mainly MkIs.  The
featured car is owned by an Ed Cain in PA and appears to be a superb restoration. 

Interesting note, a few years back I won an eBay auction for an excellent set of chrome bumpers
that I wanted to retrofit to my '81, thinking they weighed less and would be an advantage for
autocross.  As soon as I won them, Ed Cain emails me with a story about his restoration, his mom,
etc.  After I found the bumpers weighed the same as the plastic covered ones, I sold them to Ed at
a profit. So, my folly is now famous - those bumpers are on the car pictured.

In a few days, check autoweek.com - AW Sections - then I believe Vintage Cars (although in the rag
it's called Escape Roads; go figure.
