Oil pump problem?



IMO, the cheapest and most common failure is the sensors.  Go to the dealer
and buy both, they are about 6-7 bucks each.  Be sure to install the
low-pressure sensor at the head, they are marked.  Once you have done that,
use a factory filter, and if you have more than 100K miles on the motor, an
oil at 15W40 or higher (my opinion).  If it still comes on, follow up with
the other things to check as some other listers have offered up.  BTW, make
sure the connections for the senors are tight and that the wires are not
frayed...
