Well, I await the final verdict.  If it comes out that
this is a Jetta/Golf part and a 'can force it if
necessary' inclusion in their Scirocco parts list,
then I will write an email to Mark detailing what
happened with my negative ground cable and this water
pipe issue.  And ask them to reconsider making
notations for stuff like this that is not necessarily
OEM spec.

I have forwarded too many people to GAP, spent
thousands of bucks on parts through them, for this
stuff to happen for Scirocco owners.  We have special
cars with special needs.
