I'll vouch for SeaFoam!



Julie, how's your heat?  Our cars are the same age and have been sitting and
my heat sucks.  I think either (a) the heater core is crudded up (inside and
out) or (b) the heater box is a big mouse house.

Also, my car runs hot when idling and cold on the highway.  I though it was
a worn impeller and rotted thermostat, but both look fine.  Changing some
stuff this week, so we'll see.

The coolant had a blackish tint (no froth) before and after I flushed it, so
I fear the whole thing is gummed up with "Bars Leaks" radiator leak sealant
crap (same color).  I hate that stuff!!!
