Gas Tank Pics

Thanks for the interest.

My car is an '85 8v. I am in the midst of a multi-year total restoration and
upgrades. The filler neck was a little rusty so I had it and the gas tank
Renu'ed so I would never have to worry about them rusting. $315 for
stripping and recoating both.

I think only 16v cars are eligible for the recall. Besides, mine was not
leaking.

Why? I do not intend on ever selling this car. I bought the car new in
college. It was my first car. I love it. I love working on it. I have put
way more money into it than it will ever be worth, but that is not the
point. I am sure many of you understand.

Hopefully the list is still around when I finally finish it and I can share
it with you....and I will finally attend Cincy.

Rob

Did you also do you filler pipe? It was the source of my rust problem
and the tank checked out ok. IIRC the gas tank renu guy in SoCal
originally said 125 for the tank and filler pipe and I paid 30 for
just the pipe.
