I have the cable based hose clamp tool, agreed, a great tool.  Everyone 
should have one.

If you do a lot of brake work, the Motive brake bleeder is HIGHLY 
recommended.  This makes you own brake bleeding like that hose clamp 
tool makes you own spring clamps:  
http://www.motiveproducts.com/02bleeders.html.  What you want is the 
"European Power Bleeder".  I think I got mine from germanautoparts.com 
IIRC.
