Audio question Bazookas

Tony,

    While the tubes can be nice, they can actually take up more space then a
properly setup medium sub + amp and not give the same quality of sound.  An
while your are right on sound not being in the mind of the cars designers,
they made a mistake and actually created a fantastic band pass of sorts.  I
have a single 10" MTX sub in a sealed box that is the proper size for it, it
takes up very little space, has my 600w amp mounted on the back side of it
and due to the design of the hatch creates a great thump.  The beauty of it
is, it pounds inside the car, but can't really be heard from outside the car
(which is something I'm big on).  A few of the other list members have seen
my setup and can attest to the sound quality.  By no means is it perfect,
but by my standards, it's pretty damn nice.

If ya like, I can take a few pics of my setup to give you some ideas, just
let me know.
