I have a 64mb AGP NVIDIA card, it supports the higher res fine with the SONY
Flat Screen just not the new 32".

I'll take a peak at a new one anyways.

if you cannot  get a better resolution on your 32inch monitor , you need 
a better video card.
I have a 17 inch monitor and with a basic video card (7200 ATI (32$ on 
ebay) I can produce 1600x1400 .

Spend 30$ at wallmart and upgrade your video card, or get a new set of 
drives to upgrade your resolution.
