anyone interested in my parts car?

Well, you did a good job by telling us where it is. The other often forgotten item is "How much do you want for it?" I'm a day's drive away...

still haven't settled with the ins co, but i have too much on my plate
to part the '87, and of course it would be a damn shame/sin to send it
to the junker; i'd like to see if anyone would be interested in
purchasing it outright as a parts car. located in new orleans. a few
goodies:
drivetrain: 2.0L 16v engine, euro intake, tt ss header/cat/cat back
exhaust (haven't taken a close look, but some of the exhaust is
tweaked), schrick oil pain, external oil cooler, neuspeed plug wires,
k&n air filter. stock tranny but with .75 5th, velocity
lsd.
interior: 160mph speedo, cruise control with nifty engine mounting,
beautiful black leather corrado fronts, stock leather rear, leather
shift boot, uncracked dash, perfect sunroof, good carpet. steering
wheel with rare "scirocco" written across trim insert.
brakes: corrado g60 11" fronts, stock rear, ss brake lines
exterior: euro bumpers w/good rear valence--front was bent slightly
from prior crash, but looks to be easy fix--i had been planning to put
it back on. body kit in mostly good shape; only damage to front and
side piece on driver's side. both are easily salvageable though.
misc: new (~500mi) rebuilt ps rack, pass side axle replaced at same
time. body panels look good except hood, driver fender, driver door.
suspension (almost forgot): h&r race springs, bilstein sports, early
a1 strut mounts with poly inserts, several k miles only on all new
poly bushings, ball joints, tie rod ends, etc.

--
-Michael Abatzis
New Orleans!
'88 2.0L Scirocco (RIP)
'87 2.0L Scirocco...(RIP also)
'91 Saab 900t convertible...

_______________________________________________
Scirocco-l mailing list
Scirocco-l@scirocco.org
http://neubayern.net/mailman/listinfo/scirocco-l
