Torque steer

> What causes it and what can I do about it?

torque

seriously

factors that cause it:
wide front tires
front camber and toe close to zero
unequal traction across tire tread / across both front tires as a whole
uneven pavement
low spring rates (causing more change in front geometry during acceleration,
possibly bringing components into a condition that causes the torque steer -
only during the deflection that occurs during that acceleration)

if its only in one direction:
alignment
suspension bushings worn unevenly / damaged
tie rods - same as above
steering rack bushings - same as above

factors that help get rid of it:
power steering
limited slip diff with preload
lower spring rates / better dampening up front

all i can think of atm
