What the heck is going on? Bearing or CV Joint?

Yeah..I now remember I got my 12 point at least 20 years ago (when I 
had my 77 Alpine White Scirocco) . Ended up selling  the car  back in 
82, but kept the tool (s). Now have two vintage VW's and is still have 
the tools in use. Guess you may have to look at Snap On or Mac Tools.
