Since I am getting this question a lot, I'll answer:

This is for my sister-in-law (sorry folks, I'm a mk1 kinda guy).

Her pile of crap 16v mk2 has tossed its timing belt for the 2nd or 3rd
time now?  This time the crank bolt *sheared* and took the crank keyway
with it.

The body is junk, the interior is pretty trashed, but she's replaced a lot
of mechanicals.  I have talked her into the fact that the car would serve
better for parts, and would make financial sense to just start with a
really nice mk2 to begin with (she is hooked on 16v roccos).

She gave me a week to find a nice one, otherwise she plans to dump more
money into the current pile to get it running again.
